Our newcomers courses introduce you to the two most important Buddhist meditation practices, along with radical Buddhist ideas that can give a new vision of what it means to be a human being, and a new depth and meaning to life.
Through a combination of team teaching, discussion and practical exercises, this course is the main gateway to the other Buddhist activities at the centre, and to a friendly, thriving community of Buddhist practitioners.
The course will run at Sheffield Buddhist Centre from Monday 24th April for 6 weeks at 7.30pm. Don’t worry if you can’t make every session, let us know your availability and we will try and accommodate you. Booking is essential.
All Buddhism classes are offered free of charge. Donations are welcome but completely voluntary. The centre is run on the basis of a ‘generosity economy’.
If you visit this page and no places are available, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to join the waiting list.
