10:00 am - 5:00 pm
Being Fully Human In This World
(With some help from Avalokiteshvara)
This ‘Work that Reconnects’ weekend will be in the form of a cycle of experiences and contexts going from Gratitude to Honouring our Pain to seeing with New Eyes and Going Forth. This cycle of work is a powerful way of exploring and radically changing our connection with ourselves, each other, and the world we live in. This can help us find the energy to engage in activity ‘for the benefit of all beings’, as the thousand-armed Avalokiteshvara did.
Drawing on the teachings of the Dharma, ‘Work that Reconnects’ comprises tools and practices which offer insights into how we can work together to support a shifting in our hearts and mind, our lives and our society that is life-sustaining. Expect meditation, discussion, reflection, and group exercises!
