Our newcomer’s courses introduce you to the two most important Buddhist meditation practices, along with radical Buddhist ideas that can give a new vision of what it means to be a human being, and a new depth and meaning to life.
Through a combination of team teaching, discussion and practical exercises, this course is the main gateway to the other Buddhist activities at the centre, and to a friendly, thriving community of Buddhist practitioners.
The course runs for six weeks from Wednesday 30th September from 7.30pm – 9.30pm here at Sheffield Buddhist Centre. Don’t worry if you can’t make every session, let us know your availability and we will try and accommodate you. Places are strictly limited in order to comply with social distancing guidelines, so booking is essential.
All Buddhism classes are offered free of charge. Donations are welcome but completely voluntary. The centre is run on the basis of a ‘generosity economy’.
Please email us at email@example.com for more information or to book on the course.
