SUMMARY:Jayagupta's Mitra Meditation Retreat
DESCRIPTION:Our weekend meditation retreat at Duke's Barn\, led by Jayagupt
 a and team.\n\nFeeders on rapture shall we be\, like beings (the Gods) of 
 Brilliant Light\n\nThe Dhammapada contains some very clear and simple teac
 hings about the Buddhist view of mind and the importance of mediation as a
  way of working with it. Mind is seen as fundamental to our practice. In f
 act\, all experience is preceded\, led and produced by mind. This applies 
 to our experience in daily life as well as on the cushion. Although the Dh
 ammapada warns us that the mind is ‘difficult to grasp’\, it shows tha
 t the fruits of practice are within reach. On this retreat\, Jayagupta and
  the team will explore these teachings\, with meditation\, reflection and 
 ritual that relate to these verses from the Dhammapada. Together we will c
 reate a weekend of tranquil reflection.\n\nA chance to go deeper into medi
 tation with longer periods of silence\, free time\, workshops and meditati
