The classes at the Buddhist Centre are taught by Sthirananda (Pete Fletcher), a student of Wee Kee Jin (principle instructor at the Taijiquan School of Central Equilibrium). The Monday night class is for previous students of Sthirananda, and the Thursday night is for beginners. We’ll have the dates of upcoming Tai Chi course soon.

About Tai Chi
Tai Chi Chuan or Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese martial art which promotes health, fitness and longevity. Increasingly popular in the west, it is known for its slow and graceful movements. Through practicing and refining the harmonious movement of body and mind the Taijiquan student can achieve calmness, improved relaxation, co-ordination and strength.
The only requirements for Tai Chi are patience and perseverance. It is equally suitable for young and old; men and women.
