Sangha Night

An evening of talks, discussion, meditation and ritual exploring the current Sangha night theme.

Sangha night is open to those who have completed our Introductory Course (not suitable for newcomers).

Shared veggie dinner 6pm (spuds provided), the class starts at 7.30.

The Path of Reverence

“Thus Have I Heard” – Great Buddhist Texts

Our new theme will help us to approach enlightenment through different Buddhist texts and teachings.

Tonight Dharmamayi will be talking about “The Path of Reverence.”

If you haven’t been to Sangha Night for a while it would be great to see you again!

Baked Potato Club – from 6pm.  We invite you to bring vegetarian accompaniments for our yummy baked potatoes – salads/vegetables, curry/chilli, hummus/dips – hot food especially welcome, or desserts and sweets! Coming along early for the shared meal is a great way to meet new friends, catch up with old ones and to help build Sangha.

“No Movement Without Wind”

What fires you up in your Dharma life? Join us for a day retreat investigating the dynamic  quality of virya or “energy in pursuit of the skilful” – what it means and how we can apply it in our own lives. With study, meditation and ritual.

Led by Dharmamayi and Moksalila. Open to all.

The day will have a rhythm to it so please come for all of it. Please bring lunch to share.

The Voice of Silence

Listening meditation on the five elements. Embark on a meditative journey through electroacoustic soundscapes. With Herve Perez, who uses field recordings and sound design to create atmosphere and intrigue.

Metta and Mindful Emotion

A day with Paramabandhu who lives in London, exploring the role that metta and the emotions play in our daily practice, using material from his recent book “Mindful Emotion”. Open to all. Please bring lunch to share.
