Newcomers

We run a regular programme of introductory classes for people who are new to Buddhism and meditation as practised in our tradition. Because meditation is one part of an overall package in Buddhism, most of our classes for newcomers are an introduction to Meditation and Buddhism, rather than being just about meditation alone. Here’s what’s coming up:

Wednesday evenings Six Week Course Introducing Buddhism and Meditation

The course exploring basic Buddhist tools for living well: ethics, meditation and wisdom. It includes an introduction to the mindfulness of breathing and development of loving kindness meditation practices. These courses are free but donations are welcome from those who can afford them. We’d suggest £45 but any amount is welcome.
Next courses starts on Wednesday 30th of April,  7:30pm-10pm

Introductory Day

A day introducing basic Buddhist principles and meditations. These events are free but donations are welcome from those who can afford them. We’d suggest £25 but any amount is welcome.
Next class is on Sunday 27th of April, 10am-5pm

*Sign Language available on request: BSL interpreter NRCPD registered T.I.

One hour sessions including led body awareness and mindfulness of breathing or development of loving kindness meditation.
